The xPod Blueprint

All xPod Structures are predominantly manufactured from Concrete, Steel & Traditional materials such as Timber; etc. All materials utilized have varying durability attrubutes but for all intents and purposes have the same durability coefficient as a traditional ‘Brick & Mortar’ Structure.

The Main Structure predominantly comprises of Steel & Insulated Concrete Panels, depending on the requirements & Design detailing, the balance of Materials may be comprised of Aluminium, Timber, Dry Partitioning, Tile; etc……essentially the same as utilized in a traditional / Rational Structure.

All structures are available in two Options, a suspended Floor or concrete Raft Foundation

4 Storeys utilizing our engineered System, however we are able to ‘Plug’ our methodology into traditional Structures creating a hybrid of sorts, should it be required.

No……Unlike a Shipping Container, xPod was designed as a Habitable Space, therefore requires no retro-fitment or amendments to turn it into one.

Yes, The Main Structure has been design & is signed off by an accredited Structural Engineer, our Concrete Wall Panels carry a South African Agrèment Certification, which is an accredited Testing body that has carried out stringent Structural; Fire; Thermal & Acoustic Testing. All additional Materials used have their own respective attributes & are used accordingly.

No, due to the design & Construction Methodology we are able to address different terrains easier than traditional building methods.
